At I Heart Dog Rescue, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need while giving every animal the 

love, compassion, care, and second chance they deserve.

We believe that every dog has value—regardless of age, breed, size, medical condition, behavioral challenges, or past circumstances. 

Whether a dog has been abandoned, neglected, surrendered, or simply found themselves without a home, 

we are committed to helping them feel safe, loved, and hopeful again.

Rescue is about more than finding a dog a new home. It is about giving each animal the opportunity to heal and thrive.   

We work to provide the dogs in our care with quality veterinary treatment, proper nutrition, training, socialization, rehabilitation, and plenty of love 

while we search for the right forever family.

We take the adoption process seriously because our goal is not simply to place dogs quickly—it is to create lasting, successful matches. 

We want every adoption to be the beginning of a lifelong bond, which means taking the time to understand the individual needs and personality of each dog as well as the lifestyle and expectations of potential adopters.

We also believe that meaningful change happens through community. Through education, responsible pet ownership, fostering, volunteering, fundraising, and community support, we strive to reduce animal homelessness, prevent neglect and abandonment, 

and give more dogs the opportunity to experience the security of a loving home.

None of this work happens alone. Every foster family who opens their home, every volunteer who gives their time, every adopter who chooses rescue, 

and every supporter who donates or shares our mission becomes part of a dog's journey toward a better life.

Some of the dogs who come to us may need medical care. Others may need patience, training, or simply time to learn that they are finally safe. 

Whatever their story may be, we believe their past should never determine their future.

Every life matters. Every rescue has a story. And at I Heart Dog Rescue, our mission is to help make sure those stories have happy endings.
